       According to statistics, the production capacity of aluminum sheet and strip in China is about 2.6 million t/a. The largest production capacity is Southwest Aluminum Group Co., Ltd., with a total capacity of 220,000 t/a for aluminum sheet and foil, and 7 large aluminum strip processing plants with a capacity of 50,000 t/a or more. Xingwan, Henan Mingtai, Northeast Light Alloy, Bohai Aluminum, Ruiqi Aluminum, Huabei Aluminum; nearly 50 companies with a capacity of 10,000-50,000 t/a; the remaining 200 are small-scale production, production capacity Both are below 10,000 t/a.

       According to incomplete statistics, the production capacity of the “two-person turn” mill still accounts for about 20% of the total production capacity of China's alloy aluminum strip. In the production of ingots, the technology of directly casting large flat ingots by using electrolytic aluminum liquid ingredients abroad has been very mature and widely popularized, and there is still a big gap in this aspect in China. At present, the aluminum ingots for remelting produced by the global electrolytic aluminum plant only account for about 45% of the original aluminum production; while in China, it is as high as 80% or more, and the total amount of aluminum processing ingots or blanks directly produced by electrolytic aluminum liquid is very limited. One aspect of the unreasonable structure of aluminum production in China. The direct production of aluminum processing ingots by electrolytic aluminum liquid can save the remelting process, save energy consumption, reduce burning loss, reduce environmental pollution and reduce production cost compared with aluminum ingot for remelting. The ingot can save about 500 kW·h, reducing the secondary remelted aluminum burning loss by 0.5% to 1%; and for the electrolytic aluminum plant, the casting cost of the aluminum ingot for remelting can be eliminated, and the product is greatly increased. Added value to improve the company's economic efficiency and risk resistance.
